Auditions are generally held for two nights, but you are only required to attend one night. If there are callbacks you will be notified via email or text. Most directors will require you to sign up for a time slot on SignUp Genius, which can be found on our Facebook page.
You will need to complete the Audition Forms associated with the particular show you are auditioning for prior auditioning. You can find these forms on our Facebook page or you can complete them in the lobby when you arrive.
In addition, included in your Audition Forms will be a Conflict Calendar, please complete this in its entirety prior to auditioning. It is important for the director to be aware of all conflicts related to auditionees before casting the show.
Please be aware your picture will be taken once your paperwork has been completed. You may bring a headshot and resume in addition to completing the Audition Forms, these will not be returned.
If you are auditioning for a musical and an accompanist is provided, please bring sheet music with 16 bars of music prepared for an accompanist to play. If no accompanist is provided, please bring a karaoke track on your phone. Songs with words will not be accepted to use as accompaniment tracks and a cappella auditions are STRONGLY discouraged.
Additionally for musicals, you will learn a short dance routine. You will need to wear appropriate clothing and shoes (no flip flops and jeans).
For non-musical auditions you will be asked to perform either a prepared monologue or a cold reading, which will be provided to you.
Cast lists will be posted on our Facebook page and our website within 48 hours after final auditions.
Auditions can take a few minutes to a few hours. You are required to stay for the entirety and will be notified when you may leave.
