Izzy Kress is a Senior at ACC. Her favorite role she has played is Clarice in Lighting Thief and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls Jr. at studio one. Outside of theatre she loves Weight lifting and competing in cross fit competition! She wants to thank her family for being a “cool theatre family.”
Gracie Cohen is a 16 year old junior at The Burlington School. She has been involved with Studio 1 since she was 8 and absolutely fell in love with performing. She loves to dance, act, sing, and study stage combat. Her favorite roles include Miss Scarlet in Clue, Muriel in Newsies Jr., and assistant choreographing SpongeBob the Musical. This is her third year on the Junior Board and is so excited to continue as the secretary this year. Gracie is happy to call the Studio her second home!
Nevy is a 13-year-old 8th grader at Western Alamance Middle School. Nevy loves all things theater and performing on stage. Nevy has performed in many Studio 1 and Alamance Children’s Theatre productions since she was 7 years old. Her favorite roles have been Susie (a folly girl) in Crazy for You, Annie in Annie, Jr, Mabel Washington in Fame, Jr, Puck in William’s Women and the Ugly Duckling in Shrek the Musical. Nevy loves to read and listen to Broadway music. She also enjoys taking theater dance classes at Studio 1. She is very honored to be a part of the Studio 1 Junior Board and looks forward to supporting all that Studio 1 does!
Nico is a Junior at Graham High School and has been doing shows for 5 years and has been on the Studio 1 Junior board for almost 2 years. He loves singing and playing video games and is said to still be a nerd to this day
Auset Donadelle is a 15 year old Sophomore at The Burlington School. She first joined Studio 1 in 2020 and has been in love ever since! She has participated in Broadway Bound, several summer camps, 24@1 and more! When she’s not at Studio 1, she plays Volleyball, participates in Student Government, and works at an after school program. Her job on the Jr. Board is “Audition Volunteer Coordinator” and she is so excited to have another great year with Studio 1!
Alex Klischer is a 17 year old Senior at Alamance Community College. Theater is a huge part of his life and he is so glad to serve on the Junior Board here at Studio 1. You may have seen him in many shows across the county, as well as multiple at the Studio. He is so grateful to be a part of this amazing program, as well as being connected with such amazing and passionate board members.
Grant Rowley is a 16 year-old homeschooler. He enjoys working both on stage and also behind the scenes with sound, live-streaming, and tv broadcasting. On stage, you may have seen him as, Lucas (Addams Family), Professor Plum (Clue), and more. In his free time you can find him practicing his electric guitar or playing Xbox.
Om Shah is a Sophomore at Williams High School . He has been in shows since 3rd grade, and in shows at Studio 1 for the past 2.5 years. He’s so thankful to have been on the Junior Board for almost two years! His favorite shows at Studio 1 have been Guys and Dolls Jr (Big Jule), Newsies Jr(Crutchie), and Comedy of Errors (Duke Solinus). You may have seen him in Studio 1’s Voices@1 YouTube videos. He enjoys playing piano and is a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo. He wants to thank the Studio 1 family for making his experience so much more than real life.
Ria Shah is a Sophomore at Walter M. Williams High School! She’s been doing theatre since 3rd grade and has been a part of the Studio 1 family for 2.5 years. Some of her favorite roles include Specs (Newsies Jr.), Dance Ensemble (Descendants), and Gingy (Shrek Jr.). Ria is on the dance team at school and trains in Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary at Ambers House of Dance. When not dancing herself, she is assisting dance classes at Miss. Kim’s Children’s Dance and Arts and teaching Middle School Mash Up at Studio 1. She is beyond thankful for her opportunities here at Studio 1!
Treya is an 11th grader, at Weaver Academy. Treya loves to act on stage and do theater. Treya has been in many Studio 1 productions like The Lightning Thief, Newsies, and Mary Poppins. Besides theatre, some of her hobbies include reading and listening to music. She is so excited she gets to work with so many amazing people on the Jr. Board.
Olivia Fox is a Freshman at Southern Alamance High School. She serves on the Student Council, FCCLA and Dance Team for SAHS. Olivia performed on the stage first at 2 years old, singing with her church childrens group and then later, with Voices@1. Olivia has enjoyed acting in her favorite shows and experiences at Studio 1 including Newsies Jr., Xanadu,12@1, Broadway Bound and others. “It is a privilege for me to serve on the Jr. Board in support of Studio 1.”
