About the Show
One of Shakespeare’s most enduring comedies, The Taming of the Shrew explores the clash of wills between the headstrong Katherina and the equally unyielding Petruchio. When fortune-hunting suitors vie for the hand of her mild-mannered sister, Bianca, they must first find a match for the fierce and outspoken Kate. Enter Petruchio, who takes on the challenge — and the result is a hilarious battle of wits and wills that examines gender roles, identity, and love with biting humor and charm.
